Emma is a dedicated criminal defense attorney with a strong passion for justice. While earning dual degrees in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Illinois, she led an AmeriCorps/Justice Corps fellowship assisting pro se litigants in civil and probate matters, and interned with the Lovelace Center for Criminal Defense, specializing in wrongful convictions.
Emma gained additional experience at a legal intelligence agency and in family law before returning to criminal defense while attending St. Louis University School of Law. Emma has represented clients in felony and misdemeanor cases as a Rule 13 attorney with the Missouri Public Defender’s Office in St. Louis City, as well as federal drug and firearm cases with the Criminal Defense Clinic. Emma was recognized for her advocacy and trial skills, earning honors and the prestigious Everett Hullverson Award for excellence and proficiency in trial practice.
Now based in Colorado, Emma has been with Triple L Law, where she has represented clients with civil protection orders and contributed to a range of civil matters, while continuing to focus on criminal defense and her commitment to justice.
